Terms of service

What you get
A sequence of 5 to 10 emails, welcome or nurture, a message map showing the belief and next step for each email, and one revision round, delivered as plain text.
The delivery date is agreed in writing before work starts, based on length and research needed. I do not quote a date I cannot hold. If you have a launch to work to, tell me at the start and I will say straight away whether it fits.
A complete intake means I have your existing writing, your offer details, and your answers to the intake questions. The clock starts when the last of those arrives, not when you first get in touch.
There are two services. The writing is a one-off project: a sequence of 5 to 10 emails from $950, with setup included if you want it. Email management is ongoing: from $1,100 a month, billed monthly, cancellable with 30 days notice on either side.
Starting prices assume a straightforward scope. The exact figure is agreed in writing before work starts, and does not change mid-project unless you ask for something outside what we agreed.
What you do not get
I do not guarantee revenue, conversion rates, open rates, deliverability percentages, or any other number. Your offer, your audience, your pricing, and your timing all matter more than my sentences or my configuration do. I guarantee the process and the revision round.
If I do the setup
Both services can include technical setup: authentication records, sequence build inside your platform, signup path testing, and sender warmup.
For that I need access to your email platform and your DNS panel. I ask for the lowest permission level that does the job, never your main account password, and I remove my access the day the project ends unless you ask me to stay on.
What I will not do, on any budget: import a list that did not opt in, buy or scrape addresses, use a tool that guesses addresses from names, or send on your behalf without your approval of the exact text going out. These damage your domain and breach anti-spam law in most jurisdictions.
Deliverability depends on things outside my control, including your existing domain history, your list quality, and how mailbox providers behave. I configure it correctly and verify it. I cannot promise a placement rate.
Revisions
One revision round is included, covering tone, structure, and accuracy. Send your notes together rather than one at a time.
A change of direction after the message map was approved is new work, not a revision. I will say so before starting and agree a price with you first.
Who owns the writing
Once the final invoice is paid, the copy is yours. Edit it, reuse it, or throw it away.
I may describe the type of work in general terms. I will not name you, quote your material, or publish anything identifying without asking you first.
Confidentiality
Anything you share for the project stays private: your list size, your revenue, your unpublished plans.
Payment and cancellation
Rate and payment terms are agreed in writing before work starts.
For the writing project: if you cancel after the message map is delivered, that portion is payable. If you cancel before I start, nothing is owed.
For email management: either of us can end it with 30 days notice. The month in progress is payable, nothing after that. I hand over everything I built, with notes, so your team can carry on.
If I cannot deliver, you pay nothing and I say so as early as I can.
Turning work down
I may decline a project if I do not think I can do it well, or if the offer is one I am not comfortable writing for. I will say so plainly rather than take the money.
Limit of liability
My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the project. I am not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
